Born in New York to Chinese parents, Lucy was discovered at just 19 and kicked off her acting career by appearing in a commercial. Her breakthrough role is considered to be for “Charlie’s Angels”, alongside Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore. Besides acting and working as an artist, she has been heavily involved in activism and charity work, namely within the fields of human rights, children’s welfare, and health.
